Pharmacy technicians have a range of tasks and responsibilities, especially if they are working in a pharmacy setting. In a busy pharmacy, they are often required to work as a team with pharmacy managers, nurses and pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals such as physicians and nurses. They need to work quickly and efficiently and ensure that the drugs are dispensed as ordered. These nurses may not necessarily understand the pharmacist’s job responsibilities, but they should make sure that the pharmacist’s duties are not ignored or misunderstood.

A pharmacy tech should be aware of how to interact with patients when they are being seen. He should know how to assist the patient with questions, take vital signs and blood pressure, and ensure that the medications are correctly administered. Pharmacy technicians also need to be aware of how to deal with a patient’s concerns in a patient-friendly manner. They must be sensitive and attentive to the feelings of their patients and be able to respond appropriately to them. This will reduce the stress on both the pharmacist and the patient, as well as reducing the risk of injury and disease.

A pharmacy technician needs to have good communication skills. He must be able to listen to the complaints of a patient and learn to respond in a patient-friendly manner. He also needs to be a good listener and understand what is happening with his patient and the medication that they are taking. The pharmacist must listen to the prescription, make sure that they understand what the patient wants, then discuss the medication with them and answer any questions that they may have. in a timely manner.

A pharmacy that does not offer these services is often a pharmacy that has a smaller clientele and will not have a steady stream of business.
